A friend lost her home to fire earlier this year. Although they lost everything materially, no one was at home so the family is safe. She and her husband relocated and bought a new home in the last month or so. I wanted to stitch something for them to have to hang on the walls of their new home, and this piece just struck me as perfect. I finished stitching and framed it this week while on staycation.
